Part of a Grand Award Winning Whole House Remodel!

This kitchen was part of a whole house renovation turning a ranch home into a 2-story home. One of the goals, to make sure the remodel created a sense the home was always the way it appears now, it look out of place with the rest of the neighborhood.

The small, dated kitchen space was given new life as a mudroom/ homework center when the brand new kitchen was laid out in the area that was previously the master bedroom. A wall was removed to open the new kitchen space to the living room creating a wonderful interactive space for family and entertaining. New filed finished oak hardwood flooring was installed throughout.

The new kitchen consists of maple cabinetry with 2 stage crown detail at the ceiling, underside of the wall cabinets are finished and trimmed to match, recessed lighting throughout and low voltage under cabinet lighting adds light to tasks.  A large island space was created with an elevated bar. The counters selected are the new Formica 180FX laminate with bevel edge and undermount stainless steel sink, along with a tile backsplash, give the look of stone without the cost. All new appliances from Appliance Distributors Unlimited, finishes a now open, functional kitchen.
