Kruszon Remodeling took three individual rooms and created one, open, flowing space. Walls were removed, bulkheads torn out, and closets gone. The renovated space features New Cherry cabinetry in a light stain finish as to not hide the character or future patina.  Once unused space became a secondary prep zone/ bar area was designed into the space for entertaining. All new, field finished, 3 1/4" oak flooring was installed. Two stage crown finishes the cabinetry to the ceiling.  New recessed lighting was installed throughout.  Low voltage puck lighting was recessed under the wall cabinetry. Kruszon Remodeling puts dimmers on all lighting so the client can have ultimate control. The undersides of the wall cabinetry are finished to match and have a finish trim to add another level of interest and clean up the bottoms of the cabinets. All new appliances from Appliance Distributers Unlimited. Cambria Quartz counters with ogee edge and stainless undermount sinks . The tile backsplash laid in a running bond pattern features metal tile accents placed random through it. A Garthwood custom built, mobile island with custom made, butcher block top is a versatile feature of the kitchen space.

The client, who grew up in the home as a child, wanted to do something special with some ironwork that was in the original space.   Kruszon Remodeling designed a custom wine bottle rack and had it fabricated to hang over the bar/ prep area and presented it as a gift of thanks to the client.
