Shelly Exterior
A tired split level contemporary needed a face lift. The old aluminum front porch roof was the first thing
to go. The shutters were next. A new, permanent porch roof was constructed to show off the main
entry. The roof shingles were stripped and new architectural shingles installed to add interest as you see
a lot of the roof, no sense having a simple bland shingle. All the old horizontal metal siding was stripped
and new vertical, board and batten style vinyl siding was installed. This helps to balance out all the long
horizontal lines on the front of the home and give a simple cottage feel. All new gutters and metal work
complete the project. |
